Does the Hotel Selector rank hotels by quality?
No. The Hotel Selector classifies hotels by structural fit to your specific situation. A hotel that scores lower for your inputs may be the best choice for a different traveller. The tool shows three groups — Best Structural Matches, Possible Matches, and Not Recommended — never a ranked list.
Why does MY CLOUD sometimes show as Not Applicable?
MY CLOUD is an airside transit hotel at Terminal 1 Gate Z25 behind security. It is only accessible to eligible international transit passengers remaining airside. If you select a landside departure, non-transit trip type, or separate-tickets scenario, MY CLOUD is structurally incompatible and returns N/A.
Can the Hotel Selector tell me which hotel is cheapest?
No. FrankfurtFinder does not compare hotel prices. The "Cheapest structural option" priority favours limited-service and budget-oriented hotels based on their structural category — not actual room rates. Prices change daily and must be verified on the hotel's official website.

Does the tool work for Terminal 2 departures?
Yes. Terminal 2 is fully supported. MEININGER is the best-documented option for T2 departures with its outdoor walking route. Terminal 1-connected hotels are also scored for T2 departures, with appropriate deductions for the added inter-terminal step.
